A decorative honeycomb motif on a bent wall.
Why? The entire structure is rather heavy, and the fastening fittings are not visible. Therefore, it was necessary to apply a technology which guarantees the delamination strength of a joint.
The effect was achieved through bending 6 mm thick, 400 mm wide and 6 m long oak lamellae. Arches in the form of a curved wave over a radius of several dozen centimetres were subject to further processing, in order to achieve additional deflection, reflecting the curvature of the wall.
