Our Pioneering, Unique Technology

This is the technology used to produce bent-glued elements. It involves the use of thin lamellas with a thickness of 6 to 18 mm, which allow for bending with minimal radii (from R-15 cm).

TCLwood618® technology ensures that the element has been produced according to the highest standards, with particular emphasis on quality and user safety, but also offers endless possibilities for realizing unique projects commissioned by our Clients. TCLwood618® stands for precision, durability, and aesthetics.

Secrets of the Technology
Why Does Quality Cost More?

TCLwood618® is based on lamellas with a thickness of just 6–18 mm.
This not only changes the bending parameters but fundamentally affects the process of material acquisition and cost. This, in turn, impacts the offered price.

TCLwood618® technology is not about the price per m3, but about the final result: quality, accuracy, and infinite bending possibilities. Trust the TCLwood618® experience and discover how precision and innovation can increase the value of your project.

Advantages of Using Elements Produced with TCLwood618® Technology

Weather Resistance

The use of thin lamellas increases the structural resistance to changing weather conditions, ensuring that strength parameters are evenly distributed along the entire length of the structure.

Shape Stability

Thanks to the use of minimal lamellas, we guarantee the strength and shape stability of the element, which not only improves product safety but also its aesthetics. Such results cannot be achieved when gluing thick lamellas.

Elimination of Wood Defects

TCLwood618® technology requires the use of very thin lamellas, which allows for more precise elimination of wood defects than with thick lamellas (over 35 mm). As a result, the final product achieves a high level of quality and aesthetics.

Versatility of Applications

Thin lamellas (from 6 mm) open up new possibilities for designing complex shapes. The application possibilities for elements using TCLwood618® technology are unlimited.
The products prove effective as: decorative elements, structural components for carports, terrace enclosures, hammocks, dormers/bull’s-eye windows, and even large roof structures, production halls, or individual investment project implementations.

High-Quality Guarantee

The entire production process is continuously monitored and conducted in accordance with applicable standards. This is confirmed by regular audits carried out by independent certification bodies.

A few more Words about TCLwood618® Technology

In TCLwood618® technology, the wood bending principle necessitates a 1:180 ratio, meaning that to achieve a bending radius of approximately 1m, 6 mm thick lamellas must be used. This consequently leads to increased consumption of timber and glue for the production of a given element.

In TCLwood618® technology, quality selection of each lamella is required due to the necessity of high fiber homogeneity, absence of twist, knots, or alternating structures. Each lamella is: visually assessed, sorted for stress, and arranged according to grain direction.

In TCLwood618® technology, when cutting wood into 6–9 mm lamellas, the kerf (gap) can account for up to 30% of the thickness. This means that from a single timber beam, you get: fewer layers, more waste, and a lower wood utilization rate (which makes it more expensive to produce).

In TCLwood618® technology, the programming time for each element is longer due to the unique geometry of the details.

In TCLwood618® technology, the use of appropriate tools is essential, such as high-speed, specialized milling cutters adapted for thin-layer, curved surfaces with a smaller tool radius, higher tolerance, and smaller clearance range.
The wear of these tools is higher because they process curves, not flat surfaces. Maintaining the required precision also demands constant quality control and more frequent cutter replacement.

Not just TCLwood618®

CNC (Computer Numerical Control)

In the production process, we utilize modern CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines equipped with a 5-axis head system
for milling, drilling, cutting, slotting,
pocketing, etc. This allows us to produce elements
with complex shapes with high processing precision, while ensuring production repeatability.

Patented Press

The element bending process is carried out using a special, patented press (PATENT NO. 3416791).

This device is unique and a key element in creating the most complex wooden forms, ensuring accuracy, precision, and flexibility.

Wood and Adhesives

The production of our elements relies on high-quality timber, sorted and dried to 18% moisture content. For processing, we use only dry wood, which guarantees the best quality of adhesive bonds and finishing aesthetics. We only use adhesives that provide a D4-class bond. Depending on the intended use and type of elements, we use single-component polyurethane adhesives, free of formaldehyde. The adhesives are applied with a specialized applicator, which ensures the quality of the adhesive bonds.
